Help the MLK Broncos Get to Gatlinburg! 🏈
The Historic St. Paul A.M.E. Church Lay Organization is collecting donations to help support the MLK Broncos’ annual travel to the Gatlinburg Thanksgiving Bowl National Football Championship.
Honor a Legacy. Celebrate 50 Years.
This community outreach honors the memory of Ella Jean Smith, a longtime church member and dedicated missionary who supported youth sports and mentored young people alongside her husband, Coach K.T. Smith.
Together with the church’s Women’s Missionary Society and the Kentucky Conference Missionary Society, Ella Jean helped support these efforts and the children they served.
As Coach K.T. Smith enters his 50th and final year of coaching, join us in celebrating their decades of service by helping the team make this special trip.
Every gift matters. Donate today to support the team’s travel!
🗓️ Online donations close at midnight on November 15, 2026.
💙 Thank you for supporting our youth and carrying forward a legacy of service.

Historic St. Paul A.M.E. Church is among Kentucky’s oldest continuously active African American congregations. Organized in 1820 in Lexington, Kentucky, our congregation has carried forward more than two centuries of faith, worship, service, and community.
Our historic 1826 sanctuary is a significant African American historic site with documented connections to the Underground Railroad and continues to serve as a living place of worship and ministry.
Rooted in faith, freedom, education, service, and community, Historic St. Paul remains committed to honoring the legacy entrusted to us while serving present and future generations.
Purchases from the Historic St. Paul Marketplace help support our ministry, special programs and events, community outreach, and the ongoing preservation of our historic 1826 sanctuary.
Thank you for shopping with purpose and helping preserve a legacy more than 200 years in the making.
