Historic St. Paul A.M.E. Church is one of the oldest continuously active African Methodist Episcopal congregations in Lexington, Kentucky, established in 1820. Our historic 1826 sanctuary holds deep significance in African American history and is associated with the Underground Railroad. Rooted in faith, freedom, service, and community, we carry forward a longstanding legacy of worship, outreach, education, and service.
